When Anand Mahindra uploaded images from American Independence Day celebrations on Twitter, with a caption stated,

“Manhattan 4th of July Skyline.”

He also uploaded a video, starting a thread that included festivities taking place all around Manhattan.

According to the tweet, Mr. Mahindra was in the US on July 4, which is recognized as Independence Day in the US and because of this, many people also speculated about his nationality as they assumed that he is celebrating another country’s independence day.

The industrialist received a user’s comment on his tweet, which said,

“Are you an NRI?”

Soon after this, it went viral on social media platforms and Mr. Mahindra received several requests from users to ignore these inquiries. But in contrast to this, he responded to his queries with an epic response that went viral online.

“Just visiting family in New York. So am an HRI. Heart (always) resident in India.”

The response from the head of the Mahindra Group astounded Twitter users. Within seconds, his message went viral and received more than 3,500 likes.

Recently, he also received a lot of attention for his tweet that went viral in reaction to industrialist Harsh Goenka’s tweet in which he compared parents cleaning up their kids’ faults to a pencil and eraser story.
