The Gadar 2 actress Ameesha Patel is making headlines for her series of tweets on Twitter defending her Gadar 2 co-star Simrat Kaur. Simrat is an actress who has worked in a few Telugu films that include Dirty Hari and also a Hindi film Soni. In Gadar 2, she is cast opposite Utkarsh Sharma. The movie also features the hit pair of Sunny Deol as Tara Singh and Ameesha Patel as Sakina. This time the Gadar actress was trolled for her act on Twitter.
Recently, actress Simrat Kaur made news for her leaked intimate scenes from some previous films. The leaked videos went viral in no time and received several reactions on social media. Many netizens speculated that the scenes were from the movie Gadar 2. The actress was trolled by some offended people who even encouraged on not to watch the movie.

But why Ameesha Patel was trolled for defending Gadar 2 co-star Simrat Kaur
Ameesha Patel took to Twitter on Thursday and defended Simrat who faced criticism for a few intimate scenes in her previous work. Her defense backfired as netizens blamed Ameesha for bringing up the explicit pictures that were not even from Gadar 2 to the public eye by responding to them after the previous trolling of Simrat died down.
She was blamed by Simrat’s fans for making her become the target of trolls once again. Ameesha responded to trolls who had questioned and criticized Simrat Kaur’s casting in Gadar 2 by posting her intimate scenes. In her first tweet, she wrote,

Netizens started blaming her for bringing up the issue once again to the public eye and accused her of promoting her film this way
Ameesha went ahead and shared those intimate scenes of Simrat as a clarification. This made people even angrier. The actress deleted the tweet later.

The actress also appears to have responded multiple times, with similar responses, to the now-deleted tweet.

Gadar 2 is directed by Anil Sharma and stars Utkarsh Sharma as the fresh male lead. He is the child artist who played the role of Tara Singh and Sakina’s son Charanjeet “Jeete” Singh in the original 2012 film, Gadar. Utkarsh Sharma is the son of director Anil Sharma. Gadar 2 is slated to release in theatres on August 11.
