“I’ve been placed in a hotel reserved for leading business figures, influential industrialists, and international dignitaries. Bollywood celebrities are divided between a neighboring hotel, predominantly, and exclusive tents. The tents also house the most senior Reliance employees and their families.”

1. I’ve been a member of the classic “SoBo” circles for ages now. This obviously includes businessmen and industrialists such as the Ambani family. However, I don’t personally have rich or influential parents, but have been fortunate enough to be educated well on scholarships, and run my own financial services firm in the US. 2. Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Fink, Natarajan Chandrasekaran are the highest profile businesspeople that I’ve met so far, amongst others. I’ve also met a few Bollywood celebrities, but they haven’t left much of an impression on me so far. No disrespect, but they have been quite shallow. I’m sure the majority of them aren’t though and look forward to meeting more, both tonight and tomorrow.

7. Haha. I’m not Mukesh Ambani. However, my ultimate goal in life is to lift people out of poverty. I’m only in my late 20’s right now, but if I do manage to accumulate a level of wealth which allows me to pursue my goal, I wholeheartedly shall. And India will be the first place which I target.

“From what I can tell, yes. A few people were so disappointed by Rihanna’s performance yesterday, though, that they left two – thirds of the way through. It was quite funny.”

“It was a full tour of the wildlife facilities and information sessions with the team of scientists and conservationists. It was genuinely very interesting, plus they had a team of live musicians playing some lovely Sufi music in the background. It was more like a zoo tour, rather than a safari.”
10. Are Bollywood celebs being paid to attend? Some people don’t attend any events unless they were paid, wondering if the Ambanis are actually close to any of these people or its just clout.
