How does IIT Baba respond to the reports of expulsion?
Abhey Singh refuted the allegations and charged the Akhara with disseminating misinformation. In an interview with a television program on Friday, he claimed,
They are spreading rumors because they think I’ve gained popularity and might expose something about them. They’re claiming I’ve gone for secret meditation, but that’s nonsense.
Other rumors about him also stirred a frenzy on social media. Among them is that he ran away from Akhara. However, IIT Baba refuted these rumors. He claimed that the seers were now trying to hide the true reason for his absence by saying he had gone for secret meditation. He referred to these assertions as baseless. Additionally, he affirmed that he was still at the Maha Kumbh Mela and had not left the premises yet.

Seers accused IIT Baba of doing drugs
According to reports, other seers at the ashram saw that IIT Baba’s numerous media appearances were hurting his mental health, resulting in what they called “inappropriate” remarks. In addition, they accused him of using drugs. Therefore, Juna Akhada concluded that it would be better for him to leave the ashram.
However, speaking to AajTak, Abhay Singh strongly disapproved of the assertions regarding his mental health. He questioned the reliability of those who made them and voiced doubts about the psychologists who supposedly knew more about his mental health than he did.

IIT Baba also addressed allegations made by Someshwar Puri, a well-known seer from the Juna Akhara, that he was his guru. Rejecting this, Abhay Singh clarified that he had already informed Puri that they were not guru disciples. He went on to say that Puri had tried to promote himself as his teacher just because he became famous.
