Gautam Gambhir Responds After A Girl Says, ‘I Won’t Propose To My Crush Until Gambhir Smiles’

Gautam Gambhir is the current mentor of the IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). In the ongoing IPL 2024 points table, the team has secured a place at the table-top under the guidance of Gambhir. He was also the captain of KKR and he previously led the team to IPL wins. Gambhir is supposed to be pleased and proud of the squad for their winning spirit in the competitive tournament.

KKR fans are excited and satisfied with the team’s good performance so far. Amid all these, a KKR fan made a unique request to the mentor of the team which was captured on camera. Gambhir is known for his serious demeanor and he is seldom spotted smiling and expressing a happy moment. The fan asked the former captain to smile.

The former cricketer obliged the KKR fan’s request by sharing the image of the girl holding the placard on his Instagram account accompanied by his smiling image. He fulfilled the fan’s dream by responding and posting the image with the caption,

‘Here you go’

KKR won the title twice in 2012 and 2014 under Gambhir’s captaincy. Under his guidance, KKR became the first team to enter the playoffs of the IPL 2024.

KKR had a commendable performance and has registered 9 wins in 13 matches. With 19 points, they have secured a place at the top of the IPL 2024 table with one point coming from a washed-out game against Gujarat Titans (GT).
