Another Reddit mentions fishy points about Palash and Smriti’s wedding postponement

Another Reddit thread, titled “Something is Definitely Fishy Regarding the Smriti–Palaash Wedding,” added a new layer of speculation to the ongoing controversy. The user pointed out several inconsistencies—such as conflicting claims about who called off the wedding. While someone from Smriti’s side allegedly said she made the decision, Palash’s mother reportedly stated that he did. The post also questioned why Palash and his sister Palak left for Mumbai despite the wedding being organized in Smriti’s hometown and her father’s medical emergency requiring the family’s presence.

The user further pointed out that only the pheras were pending, yet the families didn’t continue the ceremony so Smriti’s father could see it, which many consider a common practice when these situations arise. They even hinted that the families, at times, declare a medical emergency to postpone weddings, though they did later clarify that they hope this wasn’t true and wished for the well-being of the family.

Smriti and Palash remove wedding posts, adding to speculation

Amidst growing speculations, Smriti Mandhana deleted all her posts of the Haldi, Mehndi, and Sangeet ceremonies from Instagram. The pictures and videos that showcased the soon-to-be-married couple having fun with family and friends have now been deleted.

However, she didn’t delete older posts with Palash, including the birthday wishes and personal photos. Palash has also deleted only the wedding-related posts, keeping the earlier pictures with Smriti intact. This cleanup act on both sides seems to have heightened interest among fans at an already sensitive time for both families.
