India defeated South Africa to win the men’s cricket world cup, ending a ten-year tournament winless streak. Even though India has more skill, money, and power than any other country in cricket, this was their first World Cup triumph in more than a decade. The competition was hosted throughout multiple Caribbean islands and the USA. With India winning the last match in Barbados, triumphant celebrations broke out in towns all around the nation at midnight.
With this, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli concluded their careers. Due to this, it becomes an intensely competitive and emotional encounter. In 2007, during Sharma’s early career, India became victorious in the T20 World Cup. Virat Kohli, 35, one of cricket’s most famous players, had also failed to win the prized trophy. India’s coach, Rahul Dravid, has not won a World Cup in his brilliant playing career.
