Reel Vs Real life Shershaah

Shershaah tells the tale of Captain Vikram Batra, a 24-year-old who martyred in the Kargil War and was awarded the Param Vir Chakra posthumously. Sidharth Malhotra plays the eponymous role of the Kargil war hero, and the movie is a satisfying viewing in terms of military biopics. Shershaah, on the other hand, goes beyond just dramatising combat.

Despite being predictable, the film presented via Vishal Batra’s point of view portrays the war hero in a slightly amusing and enjoyable way. A certain freshness pervades the story despite the plot’s predictable, dramatic and gut-wrenching moments.

As told by Vikram’s younger brother Vishal, the film is somewhat humorous and engaging in its depiction of the combat hero while being emotional at some time. Despite having predictable, dramatic, and gut-wrenching moments weaved throughout the tale, the narration looks so original that it reflects that the filmmaker has mastered the art of managing uniqueness in a biopic.
