India has seen a transformation in the global scene due to the swift progress of digital technologies in the last decade. Today, millions of people use the internet for personal and business purposes, making the digital world an indispensable aspect of our daily lives. However, with this growth, the risks that come with the digital environment also grow. A concerning pattern observed in the last few years is the dramatic rise in cyber crimes, especially YouTube account hacking.
Recently, popular podcaster, YouTuber and social media influencer Ranveer Allahbadia found himself in a similar kind of situation. However, instead of weeping and mourning, Ranveer Allahbadia chose to celebrate the incident with burgers.

Ranveer Allahbadia’s YouTube channels hacked
On September 25, 2024, popular YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia’s channels, including Beer Biceps, were compromised, making him the most recent victim of cybercrime. Following a hack, the name of his personal channel changed to “@Tesla.event.trump_2024” and his channel Beer Biceps to “@Elon.trump.tesla_live2024.”
Not only that, but the hackers also removed every video from the channels and replaced them with old clips of Donald Trump and Elon Musk from different occasions. The hackers apparently tried to persuade users to buy cryptocurrencies by using a false livestream featuring an artificial intelligence (AI) version of Elon Musk.
Now, the channels are no longer available on YouTube, displaying a message stating,

How has Ranveer Allahbadia reacted to this recent cybercrime incident that happened to him?
Although Ranveer has not made an official statement about the matter, he did post a mysterious message on social media. Ranveer shared a photo of himself enjoying burgers and french fries at a restaurant on his Instagram stories, writing,
Celebrating my two main channels being hacked with my favourite food. vegan burgers. Death of Beer Biceps met with Death of diet. Back to Mumbai.
In his other story, he shared his his photo wearing eye mask, along with the text saying,
Is this the end of my YouTube career? Was nice knowing yall.
In his third Instagram story, Ranveer Allahbadia has made it clear that it’s not a PR stunt and his accounts are really hacked. He added that he is taking further steps. In his Instagram story, he wrote,
No jokes, no PR. Working on next steps. Just feeling calm right now. Life always shows you the next doorway.
Meanwhile, at the age of 22, Ranveer Allahbadia started his YouTube channel, BeerBiceps, and subsequently introduced The Ranveer Show. At the moment, he has seven YouTube channels with around 12 million subscribers. His channels featured prominent guests like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Priyanka Chopra, and Sadhguru.

He has also founded businesses like Monk-E, BigBrainco, and Level Supermind. PM Narendra Modi also named him Disruptor of the Year in March 2024. Ranveer recently revealed on Instagram stories that he visited Singapore and recorded five podcasts in a span of four days. Now, that he has returned to India, it still remains unclear what will happen next as his accounts are still not visible.
