Naveen Kasturia is an Indian actor and model. He might not have a household name in Bollywood town but he is quite famous in the industry. 1. Naveen Kasturia was born on 26th January 1985
Naveen was born in a Hindu family at Otukpo, a small town in Nigeria. Though his family moved to India when he was just a year older, he was brought up in Delhi basically in a joint family.
2. Naveen did his schooling at Birla Vidya Niketan, Delhi.
Naveen then completed his engineering from Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology, (NSIT) Delhi, in 2006.
3. Naveen has always been a movie buff
Naveen has always been a Bollywood freak. For instance, he wrote his first skit when he was in 6 standards. Govinda was his favourite actor. He was so much into Bollywood and films that his cousins started calling him a filmy encyclopedia. He has directed many plays and skits in his school and college.
4. He started his career in the corporate
After completing his engineering, he joined an analytics firm in Gurgaon called Inductis, where he worked for 2 years before he moved to Mumbai. Once he shifted to Mumbai he worked in JP Morgan Chase for a very brief period before he could finally switch to films.
5. He started his own theatre company
In the year 2007, after completing his graduation Naveen started his theatre company along with his friends named Right Click Entertainment, and he wrote and directed his first ticketed play “Khel Khel Mein”, which was a houseful show and then there was no looking back.
6. His first job in films
Naveen’s first job in the films was as assistant director for the movie called Jashnn, produced by Vishesh Films and directed by Hasnain Hyderabadwala and Raksha Mistry.
7. Has appeared in more than 50 commercials
Dibakar Banerjee was his favourite director during his college days when Khosla ka Ghosla came. Naveen was very desperate to work with him. When he went to meet him in person regarding the job of AD. Dibakar offered him to act in one of his coke commercials. And that’s how he made his debut in commercials. From then he appeared in more than 50 commercials including some big ones as well, like Vodafone, Mahindra Tapzo app, Marathe Jewellers, True Value, and so on.

8. His career as an Assistant Director
He continued assisting Debakar Banerjee in his movies like Love S#x Aur Dhokha, and Shanghai. Later he also assisted director Danis Tanovic who is an Oscar-winning director and assisted him in the International movie Tiger.
9. In the year 2011, Amit Masurkar whom he met on the sets of LSD offered him a movie named Sulemani Keeda
The movie was released in the year 2014. This movie was a turning point in Naveen’s life and made him an actor in a true sense.
10. After assisting directors, Naveen started working with The Viral Fever
He made number of sketches with The Viral Fever (TVF) after Pitchers released in 2015 Naveen got huge fame.
11. With the release of UPSC Web Series Aspirants Naveen got huge success.
TVF’s Aspirants is story of three friends Abhilash, Guri and SK, who are dream to become IAS. The role of Abhilash is played by Naveen.
