Plot of Dhurandhar

Set against the tense backdrop of rising terrorism in South Asia after incidents like the IC-814 hijacking and the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, Dhurandhar tells the story of Hamza, a young man from Punjab whose life is shattered by violence and loss. Recruited by Indian intelligence after a personal tragedy pushes him into crime, he is given a new identity and sent undercover into Pakistan to infiltrate the criminal networks that fund terror activities.

As Hamza climbs the underworld hierarchy, gaining the trust of powerful crime lord Rahman Dakait, he secretly feeds intelligence back to India, disrupting weapons shipments and terror operations. Betrayed by his handlers and erased from official records, he assumes the fearsome identity of Dhurandhar, striking fear into the criminal world while continuing his covert mission. The film builds to a tense climax as he single-handedly thwarts a chemical terror attack, remaining an unacknowledged hero, living in the shadows for the nation he silently protects.
