Cooking with freshly picked ingredients is every cook’s desire. However, most of us think that cooking with freshly picked ingredients can only happen for the ones who grow those herbs, in their big farms and gardens. Let us tell you that is not the case. It will sound astounding to you but you can actually grow those everyday herbs on your own, in your small little kitchen. Even if you don’t have enough space certain herbs can be grown. Lemongrass, rosemary, and mint are to name a few of them.

All of this is possible through a small hydroponic setup on your kitchen counter or window. This will help you grow fresh everyday herbs without even the need for soil. 1. Lemon Grass

Lemon grass is one of the essential herbs. In order to grow them, you need to have a few strands of lemongrass that you can easily get from a market.

  • Collect them and make sure that in those strands their roots are also intact. All you have to do is leave those strands in a container full of water.
  • With a little sunlight every day you will get to see the strands growing.
  • Within 15 days new roots and leaves will sprout. If you have a little garden space you can do the same process with soil. In that case, you will get to see the result within 10 days only!
