28. Jalbhara Sandesh

Jalbhara Sandesh is a unique Bengali sweet invented by Surjya Kumar Modak from Chandan Nagar. It has a long story behind its origin. Jolbhora is a traditional Bengali sweet that comes from the royal family, it is believed that after the marriage of the royal family of Bhadreshwar with Baidyabati when the son-in-law was going to visit his In-law, the father-in-law ordered to make special sweets to fool their son-in-law. 29. Bengal Gujiya
