Displaying Manny’s irreplaceable pursuance of life with Kizie Basu (Sanjana) from the playfully terrific auditorium performance of Manny to the wrenching frames of a hospital, with Dil Bechara’s trailer, the goose bumps are induced by watching SSR again on the screen organically transform into feeling tormented of the realisation of his real-life loss.

Ironically, the trailer goes on to highlight the incredible uncertainties of life, the abruptness of death, and consistent pace to stop oneself from getting lost into oblivion while trying to make the most pragmatic sense of situations – all induced by the certainty of death – everything is brought up in the trailer quite remarkably.

Dil Bechara also stars Swastika Mukherjee, Javed Jaffrey, Milind Gunaji and Sahil Vaid in pivotal roles, and features Saif Ali Khan in a cameo. The music for the film has been helmed by Oscar-winning music director AR Rahman.
