This second wave of COVID has undoubtedly brought grief and sorrow to the majority of people. At times when we are facing a shortage of medical equipment’s, assistance and the death toll of people continue to rise.
These few companies who have stepped forward to help their employees and we genuinely appreciate their little efforts.

1. TCS
TCS has established a COVID health care center in about 11 cities all over India. It has tied up with hospitals and made the relevant arrangements. Employees along with their family members can receive medical assistance at the time of emergency here. Employees are also provided with paid quarantine leaves. They are also given the facility of 24/7 medical helpdesk.
2. Borosil
The company declared it will give 2 years of the salary of the employees who dies in COVID-19 to their family. Along with this it will also bear the education cost of their children till they graduate.
3. Amazon
Amazon is providing 14 days leaves without any salary cut to its employees having COVID-19 or the ones who need to take care of their family members who have tested COVID +ve. They are also giving financial assistance in providing ICU at homes together with the above benefits.
4. Urban Company
It has established a Covid-19 Relief Fund in order to give medical help and assistance to their service partners and their family.
5. Capgemini
The globally successful company is bearing the cost of COVID vaccines of all its employees and their dependent family members as per government rules and regulations.
6. Paytm
It has announced to give the current year’s salary to its employees who have died to their family members. The spokesperson Vijay Shekhar Sharma of Paytm said,
“We will also make arrangements to offer employment opportunities to the family members of deceased employees.”
He also posted that the company had bought all necessary home medical tools such as oxygen concentrators for its employees and their families.

7. Flipkart
This massive e-commerce Company is providing free COVID vaccines to its employees and any five of their dependent family members.
8. IBM
It has established a health line where its employees who are quarantined at their home can get medical assistance and advice from professionals.
9. Zomato
The popular food delivery app has declared to give 100% of the employee’s income who have died due to COVID to their family for 2 years.

10. StanPlus
StanPlus is giving away paid quarantine facilities and medical assistance to its staff. They are not including quarantine leaves in sick leaves and the employees can avail leave any time they feel heavy-hearted by the circumstances.
