Uber Eats is a food delivery platform owned and operated by Uber Technologies Inc., launched in 2014. It is available and used by several people worldwide. The food delivery apps do have a refund policy if there is any issue with the order placed by a customer. But sometimes things might get a little difficult to get a refund. When you have a legitimate reason, like missing items, incorrect orders, or spoiled food, and the refund is denied, it gets unbearable to contact customer service representatives and automated chatbots as things get even more complicated.
A US man took to X to disclose the horrible customer service from Uber Eats
A US man shared his bitter experience with Uber Eats. According to reports, an X user named Michael placed an order with Uber Eats but the order he had placed never arrived. The app indicated that his order was delivered by an agent named Adrian. He claimed that the food delivery platform repeatedly refused to refund him.

Michael revealed that his order was considered ineligible for a refund. He posted screenshots of his conversation with Uber customer service representatives. They refused to offer him a refund for the order that the delivery agent did not deliver. Even after Michael requested a refund, the agent dismissed his appeals. According to Michael he never got his food because he thinks the delivery agent, Adrian had stolen it. He posted,
Yo @UberEats @Uber_Support
I’ve never seen worse customer service in my life.

Here is how Uber Eats customer support responded when he reported the matter
In the conversation, Michael shared on X, the customer support agent told him that his order was not eligible for a refund.
While Michael tried to converse with the agent, he was in a hurry to close the chat and he didnot get a solution. He was even suggested that as a customer he was free to contact them for any further queries.

However, when Michael tried reaching out to contact customer support again, he was connected to the same agent, who closed the chat without a proper response.

“Yo chat… we did it”
Uber Eat responded with an apology message that read,

I order @UberEats almost daily.
I’m an uber one subscriber.
Had a couple shitty customer service experiences too and this just sealed the deal.
I’m moving to @DoorDash and getting rid of uber eats.
