For a parent, losing a child can be extremely hurtful; it is evident that Raja Raghuvanshi’s mom has been shattered by the news of his brutal murder.

In a conversation with ANI, Raja’s mom recalled that Sonam used to behave with her decently. She also said that she used to show affection towards her and often hugged her and called her ‘mummy’.

When she was asked about Sonam’s speculated relationship with one of the killers, Raj Kushwaha, Raja’s mom expressed that she had no idea about it.

When Raja’s mom was asked to shed some light on their visit to the Kamakhya temple, she shared some noteworthy details. She mentioned that she sensed some danger beforehand. She said that when she noticed that Raja was wearing a lot of expensive jewels for visiting the temple, and Sonam was decked up as a bride, she felt something strange.

When Sonam and Raja went missing, the homestay owner lodged an FIR, and the investigation began. Following the investigation, Raja’s dead body was found in a gorge after a few days. Later, three killers were caught, one of them was Raj Kushwaha, who turned out to be Raja’s wife, Sonam’s lover. Along with them, Sonam was found in a dhaba in Ghazipur, UP. She reportedly surrendered to plotting the murder.
