With the advent of India’s metro rail, urban transportation underwent a radical change, providing millions of people with a dependable, efficient, and clean means of transit. What began with the launch of the Delhi Metro in 2002 has now expanded across several major cities. For residents of Delhi, the metro is more than simply a means of transportation. It has now become a backbone that links the various parts of the city while guaranteeing affordability and timeliness.

While the Delhi Police has stringent regulations against inappropriate behavior in the metro, littering, and public annoyance, many videos on social media tell us a different version of reality. Recently, a video went viral on social media showing a man casually drinking and eating eggs inside a moving Delhi Metro train. The video triggered outrage on social media, with many people questioning Delhi Police’s rules. Now, the Delhi Police has responded to the viral video.
