The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) Gala’s second day was a star-studded affair, with national and international celebrities gracing the event.
As part of India In Fashion exhibit at the NMACC Gala, around 140 magnificent costumes with Indian influences were put on display, demonstrating the country’s influence on world fashion. The event was attended by many national and international celebrities including Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Zendaya, Tom Holland, Gigi Hadid, Shah Rukh Khan, and many others.

Nevertheless, one specific event that saw Varun Dhawan lifting and kissing supermodel Gigi Hadid on stage caused quite a stir on social media. The event was captured on camera and quickly went viral, drawing harsh criticism for the actor’s behavior.
However, Varun Dhawan didn’t keep mute in the face of these insults. He responded to one of the trolls on Twitter by saying that the performance was preplanned and choreographed since Hadid was supposed to be on stage.
Dhawan fiercely defended himself, advising the troll to choose another Twitter account to air her grievances rather than target him.

While many people agreed with Varun Dhawan’s assertions that the encounter was staged, others were still incensed about the kiss and speculated that the kissing part was not preplanned. Nonetheless, it’s quite doubtful that such an act would have been impulsive or unauthorized considering the magnitude and gravity of the occasion.

The viral video has now prompted Gigi Hadid to respond on her Instagram account. She posted the same version of the video on her Instagram stories and captioned it:

After this, she also started following actor Varun Dhawan on Instagram.
Her reaction soon gives a booster dose to the morale of Varun Dhawan’s fans. It is evident from the fact that they actually made Gigi’s reaction viral on different social media platforms.

Meanwhile, Gigi landed in India on Friday and was there for the official opening of NMACC on the first day. Then on Day 2, she donned an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla white and gold Chikankari saree with a gold statement blouse. The model enhanced her appearance with bangles and stunning earrings.
