As the video gathered popularity, India Post addressed the problem publicly. Responding directly under the Instagram post, the department expressed remorse about the situation portrayed in the clip. In its statement, India Post said,
We sincerely regret the incident shown in the video. The matter has been taken cognizance of, and necessary action has been initiated. We remain committed to ensuring safe handling of all mail.

Later, the Instagram handle of Prayagraj Postal Region said that the person who is responsible for handling packages has been removed, and action has also been initiated on the incident. Their reply said,

Department has removed the outsider who was involved in mishandling the mail bags. Action has also been initiated against supervisors for their negligence. Railways has been requested to provide a ramp for proper movement of mail bags.
