Virat Kohli And Anushka Sharma’s Love Story Proves Some People In Love Can Never Be Separated

Today we are talking about one of the most adorable and beautiful couples in the industry. The one whose charm is spread in the entire cricket world and one of the finest actresses of the industry. Yes, You guessed it right. We are talking about Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. Their love story came in limelight when Virat tweeted appreciating Anushka for the performance in NH10, by calling “love”.

He calls her “Nushki”, and the couple brings a smile to every face whenever they are seen together. Though their love story is full of ups and downs, but in the end, it’s love. They came out even stronger from all the things and got hitched on December 11, 2017.

How they met!

Virat and Anushka met each other in the year 2013 when they were shooting for one of the TV commercials. Gradually, they became good friends and were seen together at many places and in no time, the rumor about them dating each other was spread across the industry.

Speaking to American television sports reporter Graham Bensinger, Virat shared how he was the nervous one when they first met.

“The first time I met her I cracked a joke immediately. I was very nervous and that’s why I cracked a joke because I didn’t know what to do. I was standing on sets and was being all nervous and jittery. I thought I was being funny (when I cracked that joke), and I said something which wasn’t probably the right thing to say. She is tall and she was wearing heels (makes a gesture which isn’t too much) and she was being told that I am not that tall, I am not 6 feet plus or something… she walked in with heels and was looking taller than me and I was like didn’t you get a higher pair of heels. Then she was like ‘excuse me’ and then I was like ‘no, I am just joking’. My joke became such a weird moment for myself. I was such a fool, to be honest. She was so confident, she is on sets regularly.”

What grabbed more of attention was back in the year 2014, when team India came back from the South Africa tour, instead of going to designated hotels with other teammates Virat directly went to Anushka’s flat in Mumbai. In fact, Anushka sent her car to pick him from the airport.

Game of love

Initially, they did not accept dating each other, but this did not stop them from meeting each other. They used to spend quality time with and were seen together many times. Anushka was once spotted in New Zealand in 2014, where team India was also present for the tournament. They were seen together on the streets strolling holding each other’s hands and obviously very much in love.

Not only this Virat also came to the sets, while Anushka was shooting. Virat gave her a surprise visit when she was shooting for Bombay Velvet in Sri Lanka, and also visited her on her 26th Birthday while she was shooting in Udaipur for the movie PK.

When they accepted their love

In Spite of keeping everything so secretive, their way of accepting their relationship was quite unusual and interesting. After achieving a milestone in a match with Sri Lanka, Virat blew a kiss to Anushka who was sitting among spectators. And he even accepted their love by telling,

“Whatever is out there is out in the open, I have nothing to hide.”

To which, Anushka also replied stating that,

“We are not hiding anything. We are two normal young people in a relationship.”

The controversies

In order to keep everything away from the eyes of the media, there have been times when they have fallen into controversies unknowingly. This was the time when Anushka was promoting NH10, instead of being questioned on the movies, she was questioned more on their relationship and that’s when she lost her cool. Another one was when Virat got confused between two journalists who had posted abrupt stories about them and mistakenly abused some other journalist. But, later he even apologized to him.

As per few reports, Anushka’s photoshoot for a men’s magazine did not go well with Virat and he showed his anger towards it. Later things were sorted out between the couple.

The problem in their relationship

In the year 2016, we got to know that the couple has taken a short break from their relationship and this news broke their fans hearts. But the couple surprised everyone when they were seen together at Salman’s residence celebrating Sultan’s success bash.

But, within a few months, their breakup news was all over the media and seemed quite serious this time. Virat wanted to settle down but Anushka wanted to focus on her career, and even Virat’s over-possessiveness was ruining their relations. The news got the confirmation when they unfollowed each other on Instagram but again they were seen together holding hands at Yuvraj and Hazel’s marriage like before.

They were together again

They patched up in the same year, they parted. They parted just to realize they can’t stay without each other which made them even stronger as a couple. Soon, they were together and were seen dancing together on Gud naal ishq mitha at Yuvi’s marriage which was totally adorable.

Standing up for her

We all know how Anushka was blamed for all the poor performances Virat has given. Just after the breakup, Virat’s performance improved and that continued adding where people said she was unlucky for her and many things. He stood with her just like a gentleman and shared a post on Instagram with caption,

“Shame on those people who have been having a go at Anushka for the longest time and connecting every negative thing to her. Shame on those people calling themselves educated. Shame on blaming and making fun of her when she has no control over what I do with my sport. If anything she has only motivated and given me more positivity. This was a long time coming. Some cute moments together

There have been times, they have shared quite good moments, where Virat expressed his love and appreciation for Anushka’s performance in NH10.

Another one was when American commentator mistakenly addressed Anushka as Virat’s wife, during the match between India and Australia, in Melbourne in December 2014. Many times they are seen in the same dog tag chains, which flaunts their love even more.

In one of the interviews, Virat mentioned about his love for her,

“She is a lovely and simple person and she is as honest as well just like I am. And that is what I love about her the most. That is my biggest attraction to her.”

On valentine’s day, Virat posted their cutest pic wishing valentine to which the caption read,

“Every day is a valentine’s day if you want it to be. You make every day seem like one for me. @anushkasharma”

On women’s day, Virat posted a pic with his mother and Anushka, which proves- Virat is the kind of boyfriend every girl would love to have. The caption reads,

“Happy women’s day to every woman out there, but especially to the two strongest women in my life. My mom for looking after the family in toughest times in life and @anushkasharma for fighting against the odds regularly and standing up for righteousness and changing the norms #happywomenday”

There was another cute moment, where Ravinder Jadeja started the trend of “break the beard”, where everyone had to take up the challenge and go clean shaved. But Virat refused since Anushka likes him with a beard and doesn’t allow him to go clean shaved. Virat posted a picture saying,

“Sorry boys @hardikpandya_official @royalnavghan @rohitsharma45 but I’m not ready to break the beard yet. Great job on the makeovers though. Kudos.” To which there was a reply from Anushka- “You Cannot!”

Their Engagement

We all know that they were on vacation with family at Uttarakhand on Christmas and New Year’s eve, and there was a rumor about them getting engaged, but Virat’s tweet made it all clear,

Some candid confessions

Though the couple never announced anything publically, we all agree that actions speak louder than words. In one of the interview, Virat confessed about his lady love,

“I was in Mohali and there was a test series going on. I was with Anushka, then she came to visit me. Surprisingly, when I was made Test Captain, then also she was in Melbourne with me. That was a very special moment we shared together.”

Virat further added,

“During the Mohali incident, they had spoken to me already. When I hung up the phone and told her, for me it was like a flashback..From the moment I started playing in my academy until the Mohali game. I was emotional, I was in tears because I had never thought that I would see this day. What was more beautiful was that I was able to share it with Anushka. It was something that I will always remember.”

Their secret wedding

After dating for 4 years, they secretly got married on December 11, 2017, in Tuscany, Italy, where only close friends and relatives were invited from both sides and both were seen slaying their looks in Sabyasachi outfits.

The couple celebrated their first Karwa Chauth by fasting together. Kohli took to Instagram and shared a picture with caption,
