The series Panchayat 2 has been well-received by the audience since its recent debut on Amazon Prime Video. It, like the previous season, became an instant hit, and now fans are anxiously anticipating the third season.

Last season’s plot revolved around Panchayat Secretary Abhishek Tripathi (Jitendra Kumar), Braj Bhushan Dubey (Raghubir Yadav), and Manju Devi (Neena Gupta), however, this season’s story is more focused on the minor characters. Prahlad Pandey (Faisal Malik), Bhushan (Bhushan) alias Banrakas (Durgesh Kumar), and Kranti Devi (Sunita Rajwar) are the key characters this time.

However, Bhushan, also known as Banrakas (the forest monster), has evolved as the series’ major antagonist who aspires to replace Manju Devi with his wife Kranti Devi. The character which starts its story as a non-important character has become the centre of attention in the second season. Of course! We all know that story will look incomplete without a villain.

Bhushan As A Villain

Let me tell you that Bhushan is the type of individual who finds flaws in everything. His only mission is to defeat Pradhan Ji and his wife in the upcoming election. Everyone who sees him is enraged because he always speaks negatively. You may despise his character with a twisted smile while viewing the series, but you cannot envision the tale without it.

However, some people like the inclusion of Banrakas in a narrative since the villain is more important than the hero. And as we all know that without the villain, how can you consider the hero to be a hero?

While completing his mission, he did highlights many important issues of the village that other so-called positive characters including the secretary and Pradhan Ji don’t want to address.

Because of the negative character, Banrakas becomes necessary to continue the plot. Durgesh Kumar, the actor, has poured his heart and soul into this role. His character received a lot of hate due to his character development, but he also received some appreciation.

Why people should admire Bhushan?

Recently, one Instagram handle named, Philmy post went viral on social media platform for his views on Bhushan’s character Banarakas from Panchayat 2.

Here’s what he wrote:

1. Humaare samaj me Bhushan bhai hone chaiye. Bhushan bhai honge to Swachch Bharat ki Asal hakeekat dikhai jeagi, Binod ko uske adhikaar ki jankari hogi, Sachiv ji ko apne kartavya ka ehsaas hoga, DM tak Gadbadiyon ka Sandesh ja paega.

It implies that Bhushan should exist in our society because if they do, the actual truth of the Swachch Bharat Mission will be revealed, Binod will be aware of his rights, the secretary will be aware of his responsibilities, and the complaint of disorganization would be able to reach DM.

2. 7 din ke andar Shauchalay lag payega. Pradhan ko chunav harne ka darr rahega. Road bane iske wo ji-tod prayas karega. Bhushan bhai honge to Neta or Adhikaariyon ke gathjod par sawal uthaye jaenge. Bhushan bhai jaise log kisi kaam ke ache va pehlu ko samajhte hain aur samaj ke saamne rakhte hain.

It means that if Bhushan will be there in our society, the toilet will be installed in 7 days as Pradhan will now be afraid of losing the election. Not only this, but he will not try to make the road as soon as possible. If there are people like Bhushan in society, then the nexus of politicians and officials will also be questioned and people like Bhushan understand the good side of work and keep it in front of the society.

3. Bhushan bhai kamiyan dhoondhte hain taki sahi se kaam karne ki prerna mile. Bhushan bhai na hote to Adhikaariyon ko Netaon ko kiska darr hoga? Sachiv, Pradhan ki lauki ke ehsaan tale dabta rahega.
