With his first appearance in, The Invincible Iron Man (Feb 1973), Thanos is the most powerful villain in the Marvel universe, comics, and movies. Childhood

A colony of Eternals used to live on Saturn’s moon of Titan. Thanos was born there only with a genetic disorder known as the Deviant Syndrome. He was the last sons of the original colonists- Mentor and Sui-San. He was not born with a normal shape.

He was born monstrous in comparison to the other Eternals on the moon. On the other side his brother Starfox was quite handsome. Due to insecurity he started living alone and was fascinated by the concept of death.

How Thanos became evil

Thanos was an ill-tempered child. And when he became obsessed with death, he started doing bionic implementation and hours of meditation. Due to this, he became powerful than all the warriors of the Titan Eternals.

As he started getting older, his ambition and desires also started getting bigger. He stole one of his people’s starships and travelled to another star system to make an own private army. Then he returned home and dropped a nuclear bomb on Titan destroying it all including his mother Sui-San. After few days, he met the embodiment of Death, in a female form.

It was the first time that he was attracted to someone, although the being was just a manifestation of Death. And in order to make himself worthy of her, he continued becoming more powerful.

1. Thanos cursed Deadpool to immortality

Yes, you read it right. Thanos had actually fallen in love with Death. As death had presented herself in a female form, his obsession for her grew. In order to gain supremacy, Thanos wanted to impress death and make her realize that he is worthy of them all.

With most of the screen time given to either the protagonist or the female lead, Thanos in the movie The Avengers: Infinity War, scored about half an hour of screen time. This is more than what all other good guys were given in the movie.
