SRK Was Once Insulted By A KBC Contestant & His Response Shows Why He’s So Classy

SRK is one of the known faces of Bollywood. To be precise, he runs the industry. Be it Bollywood, or even Hollywood, SRK is literally the one to get spotted first. His career had a rocky start at the beginning, but then gradually it flourished.

Making him one of the loved and wanted actors. But we do see at times that people with a lot of statuses tend to grow out of their shell and gets submerged with full of ego. But SRK has been proving this statement wrong for a long time now.

In the KBC episode, one of the participants insulted SRK, in a not-so-subtle way

But SRK handled it in the utmost professional and humble way possible.

Archana Sharma, a college lecturer turned out not to be a fan of SRK. Though it is completely okay to not be fond of him or even dislike him, having the audacity to speak out loud and disrespect SRK was something that only Archana had.

Archana was one of the participants in the season three of the reality show and finally sat for the hot seat to win 2 crores. When SRK arrived to host the shoe, she had to express, neither did she show any love towards him.

Rather she was very straightforward, by telling him,

“Mr. Khan, I watch your films, but I didn’t think of you as a good actor initially.”

In response, Shah Rukh could actually be seen smiling.

But that’s not it! She went on adding,

“I noted this, and if you are honest to yourself, you would agree that a lot of your mannerisms are similar to Shammi Kapoor’s.”

To that instead of being a bit harsh or giving Archana a fitting reply, SRK took it very joking and she mimicked Shammi Kapoor’s iconic work, “Yahoo!”

That’s when Archana added to the mess she already stirred up very well previously,

“No! In the field of intensity. You have very expressive eyes.”

SRK threw in some humor and said,

“Are you praising me now? I thought you were still scolding me.”

This was it till the show continued, there was no further unnecessary interaction between the two. Until Archana decided to quit with the prizes she had won previously already when he was struggling with a question.

If you’re a regular watcher, especially back when SRK hosted, you’d know that it became an iconic thing for SRK to hug the contestants before sending them off.

Archana was one sassy contestant! When SRK wanted to hug her she straight up denied the hug and said,

“I don’t want to take a risk at this stage. I have no intention of hugging you, I quit.”

The amount of disrespect Archana kept on throwing towards SRK was not cool. Though SRK was as sweet as he is generally and he replied,

“I am about to cry. I wanted to hug you because you played so wonderfully. And I wanted to share that love with you.”

After Archana refusal SRK requested if he could at least present the cheque to her mother, and said,

“You are very strict, but would you mind if I present this cheque to your mother? I am sure she wouldn’t turn down my hug.”

Unlike Archana, her mother didn’t refuse and SRK raced into the stands and took her blessings.

I mean, it’s general human curtsey to be polite to people at the initial level, but Archana really set some different standards.
