Sobhita Dhulipala’s Love Affairs: Men The Actress Dated Before Tying The Knot With Naga Chaitanya

Sobhita Dhulipala, a celebrated actress known for her impeccable performances in Made In Heaven, The Night Manager, and Raman Raghav 2.0 has carved a niche for herself in the Indian entertainment industry. She recently got engaged to renowned actor Naga Chaitanya.

Amidst the buzz surrounding her engagement, much attention is often directed towards Chaitanya’s past love life. However, Sobhita’s personal life before her engagement has seldom been discussed. She was also in a relationship with a man prior to her current chapter with Chaitanya.

Before Naga Chaitanya, Sobhita Dhulipala publicly dated only one guy

Before her engagement to Naga Chaitanya, Sobhita Dhulipala’s only publicly known relationship was with fashion designer and poet Pranav Misra. Their romance began in 2019 after they met at a fashion event, quickly forming a bond that was visible to the public.

Misra, who is the co-founder of the popular streetwear label Huemn, is also an art enthusiast and a poet. His Instagram has a decent amount of following that showcases the success he has in his field.

During their time together, Sobhita and Pranav, both shared a love for creativity and spent a lot of time together, often vacationing and engaging with each other on social media. It is interesting to note that while the duo often spent time together and were actively present on each other’s social media, none of them made their relationship public.

Nonetheless, their connection was a subject of interest among fans, as the duo appeared to enjoy a close, affectionate bond. However, by 2020, the couple quietly parted ways, with no public explanations provided for their breakup. Since then, fans have not seen any more interactions between them, leaving their brief but noteworthy relationship in the past.

After Pranav Misra, Sobhita Dhulipala began dating Naga Chaitanya

Naga Chaitanya was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. They both were often referred to as the power couple from the South cinematic and entertainment world. However, in 2021, after four years of being married, they shocked their fans with their separation announcement.

Sobhita Dhulipala’s relationship with Naga Chaitanya has garnered significant attention after Naga’s separation from his ex-wife Samantha. The two were first spotted together in Hyderabad when Chaitanya invited Dhulipala to his new home. They were also seen leaving together in the same car, sparking rumors of a budding relationship.

The rumors intensified in March 2023 when a photo featuring Chaitanya and a woman believed to be Dhulipala surfaced on social media. The picture, shared by Michelin Star chef Surender Mohan, showed Sobhita sitting in the background during a dinner at the chef’s restaurant in London. Although the chef later removed the post, the image had already fueled speculation about their connection.

In April 2024, the couple further fueled rumors by sharing pictures from a jungle safari on their respective Instagram accounts. Fans believed that both Sobhita and Naga went together on this trip, however, did not make it public.

After the jungle safari, Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya enjoyed a European vacation. While keeping their relationship private, a photo of the couple at a wine tasting during their scenic trip confirmed that they are in fact seeing one another.

Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya officially announced their Engagement

After keeping their relationship hidden for quite some time, Sobhita Dulipala and Naga Chaitanya finally announced their engagement. On August 8, 2024, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala made their relationship official via social media.

Chaitanya’s father, Nagarjuna, shared heartfelt photos celebrating the milestone on X. He shared the photos while captioning the post as,

“We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless!”

This tweet by Nagarjuna was followed by the couple posting a collaborative announcement on Instagram. Sobhita wrote a beautiful caption while sharing gorgeous photos from the engagement ceremony. Her caption read,
