After a tremendously successful run of more than a month, the business reality television programme Shark Tank India ended on February 4, 2022. It’s nearly become a craze among the Indian audience. It’s a spinoff of the original American programme, which has been on the air since 2009 spanning 13 seasons.

The show has been a huge hit, both in terms of audience and in terms of inspiring the startup ecosystem. In the first season, which lasted 30 episodes, 67 businesses received investment totalling Rs 41.98 crore.

On the last day of the show, Lenskart co-founder and CEO Peyush Bansal pitched for Lenskart.com, and took the audience back to 2010 to retell the presentation he delivered to investors for his eyeglasses retail network twelve years ago.
