Shanaya Kapoor is daughter of Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor. Shanaya being one of the prominent star kids is cousins of actors Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor and Harshvardhan Kapoor. Boney Kapoora and Anil Kapoor are his uncles. Shanaya has a younger brother Jahaan Kapoor.
Shanaya was born in Mumbai, on 3 November 1999. The 21-year-old aspiring actress, is a social media influencer and often trends for her Instagram posts. Recently Shanaya announced the big news of her Bollywood debut. She is all set for the big screen release by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. In her Instagram post Shanaya wrote,
“Woke up today with the most grateful heart! Here’s to a great journey ahead with the Dharma Cornerstone Agency family. Excited to kickstart my FIRST FILM (ahh!) this July by Dharma Productions, can’t wait for you all to see what we’re up to! Stay tuned!”
Shanaya has previously worked in Bollywood as an assistant director for Netflix release Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. She has also got featured on one of the Netflix show Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives. Chunky Pandey’s daughter, Ananya Pandey and Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan are her best friends since childhood.
