1. Jimmy Naval Tata

We are sure that while Ratan Tata is a household name when it comes to successful Indian businessmen, Jimmy Naval Tata might not buzz you a ring bell. Jimmy is actually the younger brother of Ratan Tata who has lived and worked in his elder brother’s shadow.

Apart from being a shareholder in Tata Sons and several other Tata companies, Jimmy is also a trustee of Sir Ratan Tata Trust. Talking about his personal life, Jimmy is a bachelor, who lives in a two-BHK apartment in Colaba, Mumbai. He is a reserved person who prefers to stay and work in the shadow.

2. Simone Tata

Born and brought up in Geneva, Switzerland, Simone Naval Tata is an Indian Businesswoman belonging to the Tata family. In 1953 she visited India as a tourist, and it was this trip that made her meet Mr. Tata. She permanently shifted to India in 1955 after getting married to Naval Tata.

Simone Tata joined the Board of Lakme Ltd in 1961 and was appointed as the Managing Director in 1964. Simone took over as Chairman of the Board in 1982 and founded Trent. She served as its Non-Executive Chairman until October 2006. What is important to note is that she is the stepmother of Ratan Tata and the mother of Noel Tata.

3. Noel Naval Tata

If the name Noel Naval Tata is mentioned how can we go without talking about him? He is the Chairman of Tata International Limited. Before joining Tata International, he worked with Trent Limited as its Managing Director.

It was in 2014 that he got appointed as the Chairman of Trent Limited. Since then up till now he continues to serve in this position. He is an Indian businessman with Irish citizenship. He is a half-brother to both Ratan and Jimmy from their father’s side.

4. Jimmy Minocher Tata

Jimmy Minocher Tata is a son of Minocher Tata. He did his graduation from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies. Furthermore, he is on the board of HDB Financial Services Ltd. and the Chief Credit Officer at HDFC Bank Ltd.

5. Neville Tata

Neville Tata is the son of Noel Tata and Aloo Mistry. He married Manasi Kirloskar, director of Kirloskar Technologies. He works with Trent – one of the leading players in the branded retail industry in the India retail chain. His father serves as the chairman of Trent, an organization that was founded by his grandmother.

6. Leah Tata

Leah Tata is the eldest daughter of Noel Naval Tata, the chairman of Trent. According to Economic Times, Leah is working with Indian Hotels Company, the operator of the Taj group of hotels. By doing so, she is working their way up in group companies.

Maya Tata is the youngest of Noel Tata’s three children and is an alumnus of the UK’s Bayes Business School and the University of Warwick. There is not much information available about her but apparently, she is being trained under the guidance of Ratan Tata for future leadership. She is likely to move into Tata Digital.
