1. Randeep was born on 20th August 1976
Randeep was born in Rohtak, Haryana.
2. Randeep parents
His father Dr. Ranbir Hooda was a renowned medical surgeon and his mother Asha Devi Hooda, a housemaker. His elder sister Anjali Hooda Sangwan is an MBBS and MD doctor and his younger brother Sandeep Hooda is a software Engineer in Singapore.
3. He spent his childhood with his grandmother
As a child, he used to spend most of the time with his grandmother as his parents used to travel a lot and used to stay in the Middle East for earning.
4. He had studied in the Motilal Nehru School of Sports, a boarding school in Haryana
He had commenced acting there in the school productions. However, since his parents wanted him to become a doctor he was transferred to Delhi Public School in New Delhi.

Randeep appeared in some unsuccessful projects like D in 2005 and Karma Aur Holi in 2009. He gained popularity in the year 2010 when he did Once Upon a Time in Mumbai. His next hit movie was Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster (2011). Post this there was no looking back for him and he continued to amaze audiences with his acting skills. Some of his famous movies were: Jannat 2, Jism 2, Highway, Rang Rasiya, Sarbjit, Kick, etc.
10. Tried his hands in journalism
In 2009, Randeep wrote as a guest contributor at Asian Correspondent. In 2011, Hooda also wrote blogs for Hindustan Times.

Randeep and Sushmita Sen dated but they broke up after a few years. He was also linked with other actresses like Neetu Chandra and Aditi Rao Hydari but the actor has not commented about them.
