1. Tuneega Tuneega– 2012

Rhea Chakraborty entered the film industry with Telugu film Tuneega Tuneega. The romance drama was directed by M.S. Raju and had Sumanth Raju in the male lead. The story revolves around a man and a woman who used to hate each other in childhood but fall in love when they meet later in life. The movie failed to impress the audience and hence, went unnoticed.

2. Mere Dad Ki Maruti– 2013

Though the film revolved around Saqib Saleem and his onscreen dad Ram Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor played a crucial role in it. She played Saleem’s love interest in the movie and was the part of the mayhem that ensues in the plot. Mere Dad Ki Maruti was called a car commercial by the audience and failed to register good numbers at the box office.

3. Sonali Cable– 2014

Though the songs were loved by the audience, the film didn’t live up to the expectations. The film revolved around a woman named Sonali who provided internet services in Mumbai. Rhea Chakraborty got to play an important role in the film opposite Ali Fazal. Sonali Cable received mixed reviews from the critics but it still flopped at the box office.

4. Half Girlfriend– 2017

The film was headed by Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor in the lead roles, but Rhea Chakraborty did a cameo that surely went unnoticed. She shared the screen with Arjun Kapoor in the second half of the film. Though, it wasn’t her film in the lead role, Half Girlfriend wasn’t a big box office hit.

5. Dobaara: See Your Evil– 2017

Dobaara, starring Huma Qureshi and her real life brother Saqib Saleem, was an official remake of a hit Hollywood film Oculus by Mike Flanagan. In the film, Rhea Chakraborty played a supporting role of Tanya. However, due to limitedness of her appearance in the film, it was considered to be a cameo. The film was called a cheap copy of Oculus and subsequently, it tanked at the box office.

6. Bank Chor– 2017

Starring Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi in the lead roles, Bank Chor seemed disaster right from the time it was announced. Rhea Chakraborty got to play the female lead in the film but her performance failed to make an impact. Though a section of audience enjoyed the light-hearted comedy, but the box office numbers weren’t motivating.

7. Jalebi– 2018

A Bollywood remake of Bengali hit film Praktan, Jalebi sounded promising when it was announced. Helmed by Mahesh Bhatt, it revolved around two lovers who parted ways due to personal differences. They meet during a train journey only to go different ways again. Despite having a heart-touching and complex story line, the film failed to bring audience to theatres. However, the music album laced with KK, Jubin and Shreya Ghoshal’s magical voices, became a super hit.
