This time a passenger took to Twitter (X) to share a surprising picture of cockroaches crawling around his train seat in the A/C compartment of the Andhra Pradesh Sampark Kranti Express.

A Twitter user shared his horrific train journey experience
In the latest incident, a passenger took to Twitter to complain about his experience on a train journey where he found cockroaches near his seat.
Yes, you read that right. A passenger named Aatif Ali, who was traveling in the A/C compartment of the Andhra Pradesh Sampark Kranti Express, revealed that cockroaches were crawling near his seat. In his Tweet, the passenger shared a picture of cockroaches near his seat and wrote that the roaches even crawled on their bodies while they were sleeping.
He wrote,
”Train number 12708 A/C compartment, had cockroaches roaming on our bodies while we were asleep WHERE IS THE PROMISED HYGIENE?”

The Tweet has gone insanely viral on social media and has garnered attention from all over. Several people took to the comments section and came up with several issues they faced while traveling on Indian railways.
The Tweet also caught the attention of Indian Railways, who were quick to respond to the passenger’s complaint
Railway Seva replied to the passenger’s tweet addressing his grievances. The reply read:
“We request you to please share the journey details (PNR/UTS No.) and Mobile No. with us preferably via DM. You may also raise your concern directly at http://railmadad.indianrailways.gov.in or dial 139 for speedy redressal”

They also informed the passenger that the matter has been escalated to the higher authorities.

Earlier, a passenger traveling in a Vande Bharat Express expressed his shocker after he found a cockroach in a meal served by IRCTC. A passenger named Subodh Pahallajan shared a few images of the meal which showed a cockroach stuck on the roti. He wrote:
“@IRCTCofficial found a cockroach in my food, in the Vande Bharat train”
Railways Sewa had issued an apology for the ‘unpleasant experience’ and said appropriate action would be taken. The tweet read:
“We did not intend for this unpleasant experience. Appropriate actions will be taken to ensure that such incidents will not be repeated. Request you to share your PNR and mobile number preferably in Direct Message (DM) with us,”
It seems that Indian Railways have a lot of problems and complaints to solve at hand.
