A content creator took to his Instagram and revealed the making of Soya Chaap in factories

A content creator with the username @hmm_nikhil took to his Instagram and shared a super interesting video. The video brilliantly showcases how Soya Chaap is made in factories, from scratch!

The video very well explains how the journey of Soya Chaap making begins with a generous amount of soybeans poured into a drum. The creator explains how given their rich oil content, these soybeans undergo double grinding. Once ground, the soybean mixture goes through a specialized machine to sift out the husk. What is interesting to note is that the resulting soya flour takes center stage, indeed, however, 60% of this soya flour joins forces with 40% of gluten aataa (flour).

In this mix, a dash of salt is added to further enhance the dough. This dough is then rolled into strips and beautifully wrapped around the washed sticks.  These sticks then find their way into a spacious container for the cooking phase.

After this process, all the Soya sticks are put into cold water. Following their soaking in cold waters they are finally packed and stored in freezers where they are stored for a minimum of 12 hours before they are sent off to retail markets.
