Kavita Kundra was born into a business family
Kavita was born in 1980 in a business class family in London, the UK to Bal Krishan. Kavita’s hometown is Ludhiana, Punjab.

After completing her schooling at a local school in London, she completed her graduation from London University.
Her marriage with Raj Kundra
Raj Kundra was a well know diamond merchant. Raj and Kavita dated for some time and then decided to get married in the year 2003. The couple has a 13-year-old daughter named Deleena Kundra.
Divorced after 3 years of marriage
Raj and Kavita began to face marital issues in just after 3 years of their marriage. After which they legally separated in 2006. Her daughter was just 2 months old when the couple got separated.
Kavita blamed Shilpa Shetty for breaking her home
Kavita stated that Shilpa and Raj launched a perfume together in the early 2000s and the two came close to each other. Blaming Shilpa Shetty for her marital problems in a press interview Kavita told,
“I look at the pictures of them together and think, she’s with my husband, she’s living my life. While I was trying to put our marriage back together, he was talking constantly about Shilpa, as if it didn’t matter what happened to us because he had found someone better, cleverer and more famous than me. Now he has begun pestering me for a divorce. I asked him if he planned to marry someone else but he avoided the question.”
When Raj Kundra was asked about it, he said that the reason for the divorce is something personal and not Shilpa. Currently Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty are married and even have two children, a girl Samisha Shetty Kundra and a child named Viaan Raj Kundra.

Raj Kundra opens up on his divorce with his first wife Kavita after 11 years
11 years after his divorce with Kavita a throwback viral video of Raj Kundra’s ex wife Kavita accusing Shilpa Shetty for breaking her marriage went viral made Raj to break his silence. In an interview Raj stated that Kavita was paid by media to sell a so-called scandalous story, he said,
“She got paid thousands of pounds to do this interview by News of the World. She sold her soul during our divorce; she had to present her bank statements and it was clearly mentioned she had been paid by the newspaper to sell a so-called scandalous story. She is blaming a celebrity for her broken marriage when she herself was the reason the marriage broke down.”
Raj Kundra also accused that Kavita had an affair with his sister’s husband. When asked about the details behind his divorce with Kavita, Raj said,
“My family meant the world to me always but she would always fight and argue with everyone in my family and for her, it was always about her side of the family. We were living in one house with my mum, dad and my sister and her husband had moved over from India to try and settle in the UK. She grew very close to my ex brother in law spending more and more time with him especially when I was out on business trips. Many of my family and even my driver would say we sense something fishy between these two and I would never believe it.”
Currently Kavita is handling her father’s business in Hampshire, England.
