Sachin Atulkar is a pass out of the 2007 IPS batch. He passed the civil services exam in 2006. He was honored for his diligent work when he was posted as the Superintendent of Police (SP) at Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh.

In his career, most of the time has been on field duty. As Ujjain SSP he was posted in the field till May 2020. He was transferred during the time of Covid. After that, he was posted at the Headquarters.

After a year and a half, Sachin Atulkar has got field duty again. He has become ACP in Bhopal after the implementation of the police commissioner system.
