1. RAW Agent

There are plenty of Bollywood movies based on the lives of RAW Agents. While watching them, we wonder if these agents actually put their lives on stake just for a piece of information. In real life, their professional life is always laced with risks that even involves being killed by enemies in a rival country. This job, unlike the common perception of government jobs, is very dangerous and requires an individual to risk their lives for national security.

2. DRDO Researcher

People who are passionately devoted to research are usually found in DRDO. Unlike software engineers, their job is not a mundane desk job with the only risk being getting fired. Most of them to work odd hours and long hours straight to contribute to the country’s military technology. 3. ISRO Scientist

Being an ISRO scientist seems like a dream job for many science students out there. But getting there is just where the hard part begins. An ISRO scientist has to drown themselves into immense research to be of value to the country’s space research organization. That’s why there is a tough screening process to become one.

4. The Armed Forces

This job requires a person to guard the flora and fauna of the country. Seems simple? But count in the poachers, hunters and profiteers who would do just about anything to poach and hunt animals. These forest rangers have to deal with armed hunters and sometimes a whole syndicate to protect the animals. Many times, they are killed in their line of duty by these perpetrators.

6. Intelligence Bureau Officer

It is one of the most important government job that requires secrecy and a long list of risks. The individual working as an Intelligence Bureau Officer is required to be on their toes 24×7, make plans to keep the country safe and even douse rivals’ plans to harm their country. They deal with risks including being held captive, getting killed or getting dismissed all the time.
