A leading actor in Hindi films, Darshan Gandas is also known by his stage name Darshan Kumar. With the film Mary Kom (2014), he made his debut as a male lead opposite Priyanka Chopra. Furthermore, he acted as a friend of Radhe in Salman Khan’s movie Tere Naam starring Salman Khan in 2003.

Before this, he featured in a small role in the 2001 film Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai. Later in 2003, Darshan Kumaar also played the character of Radhe’s friend, Kanak Sharma in the movie, Tere Naam starring Salman Khan.

Darshan Kumar had been a known face in the Indian television scene for a very long time. Here are some of Darshan Kumar TV shows. He was seen as Purab in Chotti Bahu (2008-2010), Mridang Lall in Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo (2010-2012), Shukracharya in Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev (2011-2014).

He has done the role of Mirza in Mirza Juuliet and Yakub Sabri in A Gentleman, both released in 2017. He had done the role of Shekhar Salgaonkar in Baaghi 2 (2018) and a minor role of a news reporter in PM Narendra Modi (2019). He has also been named among the cast of Toofan set to release in 2021. He also made a mark in The Kashmir Files, and Dhokha: Round D Corner in 2022.

9. Compared to the platforms, Darshan Kumar is a bit new to the web series scene
He has been debuted in the year 2019 with the character of Leo in Parchhayee which was released by ZEE5. Since then he is going on a streak. He is currently doing a very important character in the Amazon prime hit The Family Man for the past two seasons since 2019.
In 2020, he has done a series with Sonyliv called  Avrodh the Siege Within where he played Major Raunaq Gautam. Darshan Kumar web series also includes the MX Player original Aashram as SI Ujagar Singh.

He was awarded the IIFA for the best performance in a negative role in the film “NH10”. He also received Dada saheb Phalke icon films international award as the Best Actor for The Kashmir Files.
