Daringbadi is located in the Kandhmal district of Odisha and around 252 kms from Bhubaneshwar, at an elevation of 3,000 feet. The temperature of this place has been witnessed to drop below 0 degree Celsius.
From DeringBadi to Daringbadi
Initially, the place began to be known as DeringBadi after the name of the person in charge of it under the British rule, Dering Saheb. He was also the founder of the place. Gradually the spellings changed into Daringbadi.

By train
You can take a train to Bramhapur which is the nearest railway station at around 120 kms away from Daringbadi. Once there, you can take a cab to reach Daringbadi.
By flight
However, if you wish to reach by air, you can take a flight to Bhubaneshwar which is the nearest airport and 250 kms from Daringbadi. From thereon, you can hire a cab to Daringbadi.
By road
Although there are various buses plying on both the routes as well.
