1. Janpath

Popular with the tourists for junk/ silver jewellery, leather footwear, Indian artifacts and carpets, embellished linen, it also attracts young crowd for very reasonable daily wear clothing. Mostly in cotton, ethnic and western wear can be found on the stalls and can fetch you some really good bargains. With a Tibetan Market and Cottage Emporium just a few minutes away from this place, it becomes one of the hotspots to shop for Indian souvenirs.

3. Lajpat Nagar Market

4. Karol Bagh Market

Another market which is an all rounder is Karol Bagh Market containing several sub markets. Starting from bridal wear and traditional clothing on Ajmal Khan Road, imported goods and electronic products at Gafar Market, selling and buying old books at Arya Samaj Road and gold jewellery at Bank Road, it is impossible to cover the entire market in a single attempt. A favorite of middle class families since ages, this market still has not lost its charm.

5. Palika Bazaar

One of its kind, it owes its popularity to the fact that it is an underground centrally air-conditioned market housing inexpensive and affordable clothes, perfumes, accessories, footwear, electronic products, CDs and many imported items. It is situated at the center of Connaught Place and is very popular with Indian tourists.

6. Chandni Chowk Market

One of the biggest, oldest and busiest markets of Delhi, it is considered to be the largest wholesale market of India. 1. Connaught Place
