3. Natraj Dahi Bhalle Corner (Main Road Near Central Bank, Opposite Paranthe Wali Gali)

This place is famous for their melt-in-the-mouth bhallas topped with chilled sweet curd and tamarind chutney. One could try their tikkis also as they are known to be crisp and flavoursome. It is open from 10:30AM to 9:30PM.

A non vegetarian’s delight, this place is home to one of the best kebabs and tikkas of Delhi. From their melt-in-the-mouths seekh kebabs to delicious mutton korma, mutton burra and chicken Jahangiri, this eatery has the most amazingly scrumptious array of food items. Open from 9AM to 11:30PM, this place is a must visit for anyone who wants to experience true Delhi non vegetarian delights with an old world charm. Apart from the kebabs, my personal favourite is their Sheermal, which is a mildly sweet saffron-flavored flatbread, to be packed and relished along with a cup of tea, for days on!

7. Daulat Ki Chaat (streets of Chandni Chowk)

Concluding with a perfect dessert, Daulat ki chaat is a not even close to the usual chaat we get everywhere. It is sweet in taste and is made from milk, thereby, making it available only during winters. It is sold openly at stalls on the roadside.

Sita Ram Diwan Chand – This hidden gem in Paharganj is actually so popular in and around that area that it is also considered to be a landmark. Lip smacking choley bhature are served along with onion salad, mint chutney and carrot pickle make for a great wholesome meal. It is very easy on the pocket apart from being amazingly yum. This humble eatery is open from 8AM to 6:30PM, although with no seating facility.

If you are around this place and looking for food, we got a perfect recommendation. Laxman Dhaba, located opposite IIFT, is the best place to go to, especially in winters. It is a wonderful experience just being there and sipping hot tea along with savory paranthas. They also serve other kinds of north Indian food items. We would also recommend a dish called ‘sexy paneer’. Open from 11AM to 11PM, this place has an outdoor seating facility.
