Love Story Of Ayushmann Khurrana And Tahira Kashyap Is Straight Out Of A Romance Novel

Ayushmann and Tahira fell in love when they were teens, at a tuition class but they could not confess it to each other for a very long time, but when they did, they put forward their beautiful relationship, and yes, the inspiration of Pani Da, sung by Ayushmann Khurrana.

It’s been 12 years since they have known each other and 8 years since they have got married. Their busy schedules, stardom, nothing could come between their love and they never felt separated from each other. They have two kids, Virajveer and Varushka, and today we bring you their beautiful love story from the start.

The teenage crush

In a column written by Tahira, she said:

Both of us attended the same Physics tuition class when we were in the 12th standard. It was a batch of around 60 students and when I first met Ayushmann I thought his name was Abhishek. Both me and my friend had a crush on him but outwardly ignored him throughout the year.

Ayushmann said that he could not believe when he came to know that Tahira had a crush on him because he believed that he wasn’t that good looking and there were other boys who were much good looking than him. Moreover, every guy had a crush on Tahira, so it got him on Cloud Nine when he found out that Tahira likes him.

The filmy story

There was a filmy twist in their story. Tahira’s father said her that they were going to the residence of one of his friends for dinner, and he was an astrologer. She got very excited and she wanted to ask him how she would do in the competitive exams that’s he was preparing for. When they had arrived, she found out that it was Ayushmann’s residence. And this time, they finally talked.

Ayushmann said that he tried to behave normally and played for her all the time. Tahira said that she found him to be cute but she was impressed with his wit, his vocals and yes, his charm.

They finished high school and began dating. Both of them pursued Mass Communication from Punjab University but from different colleges. Their relationship turned more into a competition because they would get against each other during debates and dramatics. They joined the same theatre group later.

The beautiful wedding

Tahira married Ayushmann while he was still a struggling actor. Ayushmann said in an interview that he had no money when he had got married. His wife was doing much better than him in every field, but no ego came between them. He said that when there is love, there is no scope for ego.

They always wanted to get married, but when Ayushmann confessed that he wanted to be an actor, Tahira lost all hopes because she knew that her family would not agree her getting married to an actor and living such a life in Mumbai. Yet, Tahira was always there by his side.

They overcame all the problems with their love and Ayushmann proposed Tahira for a marriage in the subtlest way, with a ring, music playing in the background, red roses, wine, and a romantic candlelight dinner.

They both finally got married on November 2011.

The post success life

They both were connected to each other forever with their marriage. They both stayed in a long-distance relationship after marriage. Ayushmann lived in Mumbai and Tahira lived in Chandigarh. Things were very much like this until the time Vicky Donor, the first movie of Ayushmann came to the big screen. Tahira said,

“When I saw Vicky Donor on the big screen for the first time, it was a surreal moment for me. I was transported back in time to when he had first told me he wanted to be an actor. And I had laughed. We definitely didn’t expect Vicky Donor to do so well and never, in my wildest dreams, did I imagine that a song I had been listening to for the past 9 years (Paani Da) would become such a phenomenon!”

Ayushmann is a celebrity and they both get noticed but they haven’t really allowed this to settle in their heads and they still take out quality time for each other to spend. Ayushmann says that Tahira keeps him grounded and his much more intelligent than him.

Tahira is now a director/producer by profession and she has also recently directed a short film called Toffee, produced by Ayushmann. She wants to enter the world of directing the full-length feature films and she would love to direct Ayushmann if he fits in.

The beautiful family

They have two kids as we mentioned earlier. When Tahira gave birth to their daughter, Ayushmann took to social media to express his happiness. He wrote,

“There’s a birth of a father again. Was proud to be the first one to get married in my batch of 99 of St John’s High School, Chandigarh. I’m also the youngest father. It’s a feat to be a parent in your 20s. It’s overwhelming! O, boy! It’s a baby girl! I learned humility from my mother, chivalry from my wife will become compassionate because of my daughter.”

The unconditional love

Now that they have spent such a long time with each other, got married and also turned into proud parents, we will tell you what they feel about each other now.

Ayushmann says that he is really proud of Tahira. He considers marrying her as an achievement because it is difficult to find someone like her. He added the support and the valuable advice that she has always provided him with.

For Tahira, she said she found him much better than the time when they were dating. She loves his character and his humbleness, which is reflected her as a husband, as an employee, employer, friend, son, brother, son in law. She thinks that she has got the best companion for herself.
