She also has an MBA degree from the University of Birmingham in Strategic Management and Marketing. Fatima was a State as well as a University Topper. So, like her husband, she is also a well-learned woman.

How did Ajit meet his wife Fatema?
He met her through his best friend in 2000 when Fatema was working as a management consultant for a private firm in Mumbai. Fatema was the sister of Ajit’s best friend.
They both loved each other dearly but that was not enough to tie the knot peacefully. Ajit’s family was against his choice of a life partner as his family is a Maharashtrian Brahmin family.

Despite facing issues and criticism, Ajit decided to stay firm in his decision and married the love of his life Fatema Ghadially in the year 2002. Ajit had an inter-faith marriage and had been a loving husband. Their marriage stood the test of time as they completed 21 years of their marriage in 2023.

What makes Ajit and Fatema love story even more interesting is that Fatema’s brother Mazhar Ghadially played a huge role in their story. Mazhar also played cricket on the domestic level with Ajit early in the 1990s. Ajit and Mazhar became best friends during that time.
Fatima used to be present with her brother during matches and other public events and Ajit used to be there too. Ajit and Fatema soon between friends and started dating. In 2002, the couple got married in a quiet ceremony with the approval of their families.
At the wedding event, only close friends and relatives were invited. On their reception on February 9, too the guest list was very particular. The whole Indian cricket team was invited.
The couple were blessed with a son after a few years whose name is Raj.
The lovely couple are living a happy life with their kid and their pet dog. They celebrated their 21st marriage anniversary on February 9, 2023.
