Rohit Sharma And Ritika Sajdeh Love Story, When The Cricketer Fell For His Sports Manager

He is known as a hit-man of the Indian cricket team and she being his better half, makes one of the best couples in the world of cricket. Yes! We are talking about the handsome Rohit Sharma and pretty Ritika Sajdeh.

When they met!

Before they got hitched, they have been knowing each other for 6 years and the source says that Ritika is Yuvraj’s Rakhi sister. Rohit Sharma and Ritika met as professionals. Since Ritika is a Sports Manager and used to manage many cricketer’s schedules, Rohit was one amongst the list, where she was Rohit’s manager and used to handle his cricket engagements.

Initially, they used to meet for work and eventually the meet-ups became common when they turned into friends and gradually best friends. In no time their friendship turned into love and they decided to take a step ahead in the relationship.

The grand proposal

Rohit dated Ritika for 6 years, and he knew exactly when the time was correct. And then he decided to propose his ladylove in a very filmy way. Rohit went down on his knees and proposed to her at a place that holds a lot of memories and importance in his life. He took the solitaire ring out of his pocket and proposed to her at Borivali Sports Club, Mumbai, where he started his career when he was 11 years of age. Ritika was surprised, but their love for each other was true, she said yes and accepted the proposal.

Two of them got engaged on June 3rd, 2015, and decided to take the vows.

The marriage

They got married on 13th December of the same year. It was literally a big fat Indian wedding that took place at Taj Lands Hotel, Mumbai. It was totally a star-studded wedding which was attended by all big shots, cricketers around the world, Bollywood celebs, business world and who not.

After marriage

They have been married for 5 years now and Ritika has been a constant support in Rohit’s life. They complement each other really well and are a constant support in each other’s life in all highs and lows.

“I take permission from her for everything. Except while I am batting. That is the only time I don’t take permission because you have to react instinctively.”

“I was happy when she was not there when I scored 264. Because 50 overs, her fingers would get twisted forever. Like MS Dhoni.”

The couple is now blessed with a baby girl Samaira who has been winning hearts with her cuteness.
