Ajay Devgn was born on 2nd April 1969 in New Delhi to a Punjabi family who have their ancestral roots in Amritsar.

Ajay’s father Veeru Devgan was a stuntman and action-film director in the 70s and 80s; his mother Veena Devgan was a film producer.

Although this might be a fact known to many that he debuted with the movie Phool aur Kaante in the year 1991 and its songs were a rage back then. 13. Kajol was NOT his first love
Back in the early 90s while shooting for the movie Jigar, Devgn and Karisma Kapoor got into a relationship. However, this relationship did not last long and ended in 1995. The same year, he started seeing Kajol while working together in the movie Gundaraj.

15. Kangana Ranaut allegedly got involved with Ajay Devgn when the two were shooting for Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai
As per few media reports Ajay and Kangana got along well into a love affair with no strings attached. Things got out of hand when Kangana got emotionally involved with Ajay and this did not go well with him as he had no intentions of leaving his wife, Kajol. In a controversial interview with Stardust magazine, Kangana even went on record to say that getting involved with a married man was a mistake.

16. Devgn owns a Vfx company
He owns a production house which is named Ajay Devgn FFilms and was formed in 2000. In 2015, Devgn also started a Vfx company called NY VFXWAALA, which is named after his kids – Nysa and Yug.

17. He made his directorial debut 11 years ago
The movie U Me Aur Hum starred Devgn and his wife Kajol in the lead. It didn’t do well at the Box Office but was nevertheless a milestone for the actor.
