Adah Sharma is an Indian actress who is well-known for her titular role in the blockbuster movie The Kerala Story in 2023. Her acting got critical appreciation and praise from the audience. She has also worked in many other films, including Commando 2, Hasee To Phasee, Bypass Road, and many others. Last year, she made headlines for rumors about her purchasing Sushant Singh Rajput’s flat in Bandra, Mumbai. The late actor Sushant Singh Rajput used to live there before his tragic death in 2020. Since then, the flat has apparently been empty.

The property is a huge duplex 4BHK apartment that covers an area of 2,500 square feet at Mont Blanc Apartments offers a spectacular view of the sea, and also has a terrace.

The flat is located on the sixth floor of Carter Road in Mumbai’s Bandra West. In December 2022, the property was advertised online by its real estate agent, Rafique Merchant. The ad was to attract potential tenants or buyers.
In an interview with Siddharth Kanan, when questioned about the alleged property purchase, the actress opened up about these speculations and shared her perspective on the same. Adah said,
“For now I would just like to say that I live in everyone’s hearts. There is a right time to speak. When I had gone to see the place, I got overwhelmed with the media attention. I am a private person. I love being in the public eye for my movies but I have always been private. I guard my privacy.”

Adah felt bad about some negative comments she noticed after the news of Sushant Singh Rajput’s apartment being sold surfaced online. She expressed that it felt wrong that people were talking about someone who’s no more. She mentioned that it doesn’t affect her if people criticize her, but they should not discuss about someone who cannot answer anymore. She also said that when the time comes, she will declare if she makes any materialistic purchases. She said,
“I also thought that it’s wrong to talk about someone who is not in this world, who has done such beautiful films. I don’t stand for that. He is an actor who I have great respect for so I would like to put everything where he has his respect”
She also added,

“I don’t like people loosely commenting…I didn’t like it. I read some comments about him. I mean, you can troll me but don’t troll someone who is not there or doesn’t have someone to speak about them. I will speak about where I live materialistically soon, but right now I am living in the hearts of millions of people, rent-free.”
Sushant death by alleged suicide on June 14, 2020, shocked the nation. Adah Sharma’s perspective reflects the importance of honoring individuals’ memories who are no more.
