Adah Sharma is an Indian actress who is mainly seen in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil language films. Adah made her acting debut in the Bollywood industry with the lead role in the 2008 horror movie, 1920, which was a box office success. Adah even got a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut nomination for her portrayal of a possessed woman in the film.

Her next notable Bollywood release was the romantic comedy film Hasee Toh Phasee in 2014. Sharma also ventured into the South Indian film industry. She played the leading lady in Telugu films including S/O Satyamurthy and Kshanam.

She has been dancing since the tender age of three and has a graduation in Kathak from the Natraj Gopi Krishna Kathak Dance Academy in Mumbai. She has also trained for four months in the US in salsa, besides jazz and ballet. She also claims to be good at belly dancing.

Despite being a Tamilian, Sharma can speak Marathi and Hindi very well as she was born and brought up in Mumbai.

She is playing the lead role in the Bollywood movie, The Kerala Story, in 2023. There were a lot of controversies related to the movie which claims to be based on true events. But amidst all the disputes the movie has been released and is being watched by many interested audiences. In The Kerala Story, she played the role of Shalini Unnikrishnan who was radicalized and converted to Islam with a change in identity as Fathima Ba. She is shown to eventually join the terrorist organization ISIS.
