1. Dead snakes

In 2007, a man coming from South Korea was caught in Atlanta International Airport with a suitcase filled with jars and bottles that had dead venomous snakes. People never knew what he intended to do with those dead creatures.

2. Cannonball

While travelling around 18th-century shipwreck, a diver found an old cannonball and decided to keep it within his luggage. Security control decided that it was very dangerous and potentially explosive as a result of which they had to evacuate 300 passengers.

3. Body of iPhones

This happened in China in 2014 when the airport staff sensed something strange after the metal detector was set off. With 94 iPhones strapped to his body, the man intended to sell them all at high rates.

4. 200 tarantulas

The incident took place at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport. A German couple was caught with a bag in which they happened to take 200 rare tarantulas to home from their trip to South America.

5. $1.2 million in gold bars

It was found during the cleaning of a routine flight from Mumbai to Bangkok. 24 gold bars were found from the bathroom and this didn’t come as a shock for the staff as India is the world’s largest gold consumer and smuggling of gold is very common.

6. 51 tropical fish

At Melbourne International Airport in 2005, a security officer noticed something bizarre on a woman’s skirt. While inspection, they came to know that she hid 51 live tropical fish in her skirt which she was trying to transport illegally.

7. Lipstick stun gun

In Vermont, a strange lipstick in a woman’s carry-on bag created suspicion. During the inspection, it was found that the lipstick was not for beauty purpose, it was a 350,000-volt stun gun.

8. 4 grenades

A man attempted to board a fight with four grenades hidden in his bag. He was caught and arrested.

9. Chastity belt

This is indeed weird as a British woman was stopped at the security check of the Athens Airport due to the metal detector beeping. It turned out that she was wearing the steel chastity belt to give a guarantee of loyalty to her husband during her vacation.

10. 8-year-old boy

An 8-year-old Ivorian boy was found in a suitcase in Spain in 2015. The bag arrived from Morocco.
