Ruturaj Gaikwad, the Chennai Super Kings opener is hitting the headlines as he is all set to get married to his girlfriend Utkarsha Pawar. The opener, being the second-highest run-scorer for CSK, played a crucial role in winning the IPL 2023 for his team Chennai Super Kings.
Back in 2021, Gaikwad’s spotless delivery heavily contributed to CSK’s IPL trophy lift that year. He was also the highest scorer that season, having scored 635 runs for CSK. Needless to point out that he won the orange cap in IPL 2021.

Ruturaj Gaikwad had a good show in IPL 2023 too, having an average run rate of 42.14 runs per match. He ended up scoring 590 runs from 16 matches in total. This year too, Gaikwad was one of the chief contributors that aided CSK’s fifth IPL trophy.
On May 29, Utkarsha Amar Pawar, Gaikwad’s girlfriend, was spotted in Ahmedabad at the Narendra Modi stadium at the IPL 2023 final. She was there when CSK lifted their IPL trophy after defeating the IPL winner 2022 Gujarat Titans. Though the 26-year-old right-handed batsman had previously announced that his wedding was to take place in June, very less is known about his girlfriend. He has successfully kept it under wraps.
Who is Utkarsha Pawar?
Utkarsha Amar Pawar, the young talent, hails from Pune. She is a cricketer by profession and plays domestic cricket for Maharashtra. The woman is an all-rounder, she is a right-handed batsman and blows right arm medium fast.

- Ruturaj and Pawar have been dating for the past two years and they are ready to tie the knot on June 3rd. Ruturaj Gaikwad delivered a stellar performance this IPL season and is expected to join the Indian Team to play alongside Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Shubman Gill very soon.

On the 3rd of June, the couple got married in Mahabaleshwar. Ruturaj Gaikwad took to his Instagram account to post their marriage pictures with a cute caption. A few of his IPL teammates were also spotted attending the auspicious ceremony like Shivam Dube and Prashant Solanki. Many others congratulated them on Instagram.
