1. Raid – 2018

Ajay Devgn, Ileana D’Cruz, and Saurabh Shukla star in the contemporary crime drama Raid. The movie is based on real-life I-T raids performed by personnel of the Indian Revenue Service in the 1980s.

While the film is slow in sections and shows only one raid in two hours, it has captured the attention of moviegoers who have awarded it a thumbs up. Ajay Devgn, who is typically chosen in Golmaal or Singham roles, broke the mold with this picture, as well as the consequences are spectacular.

2. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety – 2018

3. Golmaal Again – 2017

The fourth installment of the Golmaal series was released in 2017. It was a horror/drama/comedy hybrid. Parineeti Chopra and Tabu were also new additions to the franchise. Considering how most movie series flop after the second and third installments, this one was a huge smash.

Tusshar Kapoor, who currently only appears in the Golmaal series, and Kunal Kemmu, who had not been seen in a long time, surprised us with their wit and charm and blockbuster collecting. While the film has received mixed reviews, it was a big hit with the crowd.

4. Hindi Medium – 2017

The film, starring Irrfan Khan and Pakistani starlet Saba Qamar, reached Rs 100 crore becoming the fifth film in 2017 to do so. After Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Secret Superstar, this was the third movie to be released in China.

The film featured a humorous look at India’s system of education and how owning a school has turned into a money-making venture, causing lower-income adults and caregivers to suffer.

5. Secret Superstar – 2017

The movie has already grossed up to Rs 500 crore in China becoming a career-high hit.
It is the largest Hindi film of 2017, as well as the 2nd highest-grossing Hindi film of all time, trailing only Dangal (2016). It is also the third-most-profitable Bollywood film of all time, trailing only Dangal and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

6. English Vinglish – 2012

People were crossing their fingers for Sridevi‘s long-awaited return to the big screen. People had high expectations for her as the phenomenal performer she was in the 1980s. And the lady did not let me down. Taking a true issue, such as how society treats someone that doesn’t speak English, captured our hearts, and the fantastic assortment expressed it all. She demonstrated that she can still play the hero in her flicks.

According to Box Office India, English Vinglish grossed over US$4 million internationally, making it one of the top ten highest-grossing Bollywood movies of 2012.

7. ABCD 2 – 2015

Telling the true story of the fictional dancing group, this film follows the highs and lows of an Indian dance group from the Mumbai outskirts.

While dancing films such as Aaja Nachle was not well-received, this film showed otherwise. According to sources, ABCD 3 is already in the works and is now under wraps, owing to its success.

8. Dum Laga Ke Haisha -2015

Dum Laga Ke Haisha emerged as one of the very few Hindi films to earn more money in its second season than it did in its first. Dum Laga Ke Haisha also had the best fifth weekend of 2015. People throng to movie theatres to see a good-looking actress, has a gorgeous body, a handful of item numbers, and dances around trees in Bollywood films.

However, this film demonstrated that an actress’s figure and face do not have to be on track with the other starring ladies if the material is good. And thus started the emergence of decent movies.

9. Baaghi – 2016

After day 17, Shraddha Kapoor’s Baaghi, which also featured Tiger Shroff, reportedly earned Rs 74.37 crore at the box office. The actor established herself as the serious contender in the race of Gen-Y stars. Despite a poor start, the film went towards becoming a smash hit.

Because Baaghi was such a success and profitable the second installment of the film, Baaghi 2 has already been released in the theatres.
