15 Bollywood Actors Who Haven’t Tasted Stardom Despite Being Talented

Bollywood is an amalgamation of different talents. Many times these talents go unnoticed, and the stars fail to grab enough limelight than what they deserve. Stardom depends on a lot of factors, and especially in Bollywood, it is not just sufficient to be talented for getting stardom.

We have listed some of the celebrities who deserve more success but failed to get enough limelight.

1. Tisca Chopra

This beautiful actress failed to get enough of the limelight despite having a lot of acting talents. She was seen in hit films like Ankur Arora Murder Case, Taare Zameen Par, Rahasya, and Firaq. Her short movie titled Chutney is one of the most popular short films in India.

2. Mahi Gill

Called initially as Rimpy Kaur Gill, she is an extremely talented actress who quickly gets into the skin of the character. She gained fame after portraying the role of modern Paro in the Anurag Kashyap directed Devdas which was called Dev D. She had been a part of many Punjabi films as well her notable works include Dev D, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster series, Paan Singh Tomar, and many more.

3. Ashutosh Rana

This actor is popularly known as a villain, and his impeccable acting skills were noticed in Silence of the Lambs. This actor also failed to get enough of stardom even after being so talented.

4. Nimrat Kaur

Nimrat Kaur also failed to get enough limelight despite being talented. She gained popularity post her role in the movie Airlift. Her work in Lunchbox was also appreciated. Recently she acted in a web series titled The Test Case where she played the role of an army woman.

5. Kalki Koechlin

This bold and beautiful actress has not got enough of stardom despite being talented. Some of her famous movies include Dev D, Ek Thi Dyan, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Margarita with a Straw and Shaitan. Recently she acted in a horror web series Bhram has come on ZEE 5 which earned several awards.

6. Nandita Das

This talented actress also failed to grab the limelight despite her fantastic acting skills. Some of her famous movies include Manto, Fire, Firaq, and Earth.

7. Chitrangada Singh

This beautiful actress started her filmy career with Yeh Saali Zindagi, which had received a lot of success. She was also seen Desi Boyz, Inkaar, Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, I, Me Aur Main and Baazaar. Chitrangada came in headlines post her unprofessional behaviour during her intimate scenes with actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Despite her acting skills, this actress failed to get enough of stardom.

8. Jimmy Sheirgill

Jimmy has proven his calibre many times, but he failed to grab the lead role. His skills over overlooked, and he was unable to get stardom.

9. Richa Chadha

Richa Chadha acting skills were noticed Gangs of Wasseypur where she played the role of Najma Khatoon. She was also seen in Dibakar Banerji’s Oye Lucky Lucky Oye as Dolly and won several awards for her acting.

10. Adah Sharma

Her debut with the classic horror movie 1920, received several accolades. She was also seen in a character role in the film Hasee Toh Phasi and Commando. This actress has also done many south Indian movies. However, she is not so popular in Bollywood despite her impeccable acting skills.

11. Huma Qureshi

Huma Saleem Qureshi is a talented actress who was nominated three times for Filmfare Awards. The model turned actress gained popularity after her role of Mussina Khan in the movie Gangs of Wasseypur series. She was seen in other Hit films like Badla, Love Suv Te Chicken Khurrana, Dobaara, and Jolly LLB 2. Despite her acting skills, she failed to get enough stardom. Recently she was seen in a Netflix web series Laila which has received accolades from many.

12. Ronit Roy

Ronit has acted in several tele series and Bollywood movies as well. The critics appreciated his role as an abusive, alcoholic father in the film Udaan. His acting skills were portrayed in other hit films of Bollywood as well. But despite his talents, this actor failed to get stardom.

13. Amrita Puri

Amrita Puri is a talented actress, but she was unable to grab any films except Kai Po Chhe, where she had acted well.

14. Rajit Kapur

We all remember the witty character of Rajit Kapur in his original Byomkesh Bakshi. His acting skills were also showcased in Vikram Bhatt’s Ghulam where he had played the role of Aamir Khan’s elder brother. We feel that this actor also should have got a lot of popularity considering her fantastic acting skills, but he too failed to get enough of stardom than he had deserved.

15. Swara Bhaskar

We all remember Swara Bhaskar due to her natural acting in Anand L Rai’s Tanu Weds Manu and Raanjahana. However, this actor is not so popular despite being talented. She is a face of endorsing brands like Dove, Sprite etc.
