9 Television Actresses Who Left Acting To Pursue Different Career

Some actresses had great careers in the industry but they still left to pursue their dreams and another career that sparked their interests. Some even stopped working to take care of their family after they, married very newly. Below is a list:

1. Mihika Verma

Mihika Verma entered the industry after 2004. Back in 2004, she won the title for Miss India International and her first serial to work on was Yeh Hai Mohabbatein where she played the role of a housewife. After she got married she decided to leave her acting career behind and left the nation to settle in the US with her husband.

2. Neha Bagga

Neha gained her popularity through the daily serial named, Bani – Ishq Da Kalma, she used to play the role of Rajji. With that being said she got more into TikTok and lip-syncing video making. Now she uploads videos like those which gain millions of engagement and she has a huge number of followers now.

3. Ankita Karan Patel

Ankita has been a part of a lot of daily serials. Some of them were the ones that ran for a very long time, namely, Ek Nayi Pehchaan, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Dekha Ek Khwaab, etc. made her rule the television industry. But when she got married to Karan Bhai Patel in 2015 she decided on leaving the television industry. Which obviously upset fans.

4. Shweta Salve

Not only is she a brilliant actor, Shweta Salve has appeared in many TV serials like Left Right Left, Hip Hip Hurray, Par Is Dil Ko Kaise Samjhaye, etc. She is also a very good dancer and it is proven by her participation in the reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Season 1, where she not only participated but also was ranked as one of the runner-ups.

5. Rajshree Thakur

Rajshree was a very widely loved soap actress. Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar used to be a daily soap opera back in 2005, and through that show, the actress became the fan-favorite. In 2009 he stopped her career in the television, though she was seen as a guest appearance but not into any daily soaps.

Before she started with the entertainment industry he used to work as a Marathi repeater for the All India Radio. In the serial Shaadi Mubark, she got fans by surprise, but it was just for a couple of months and now she has gone back to take care of her family.

6. Mohena Singh

Mohena Kumari Singh used to play the role of Keerti in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. And the fact it this serial was the second longest serial to be aired on the television channel, which makes the serial equally successful in case of the TRP.

But after she got married to Suyesh Rawat in 2019, she decided to walk away from her career of acting and that broke the hearts of many.

7. Soumya Seth

Soumya Seth is the niece of Bollywood actor, Govinda. She became quite famous after the completion of her project Navya…Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal. After that, she was very successful in her career and got offers from good serials like V The Serial, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, and a few more.

After all of that, she got married and decided to leave the television industry. She married Arun Kapoor in 2017 and settled in UAS with him.

8. Rucha Hasabnis

Remember the character’s name, Rashi Ben? Who is now a comical skit for the all Instagram reel creator? Rucha was the one who played the role in a serial. She also worked in other television projects like Comedy Circus Ke Tansen, Box Cricket League, etc.

Though her career was very well settled she did decide to leave it after she got married to Rahul Jagdale in 2015. The family is living abroad now and they are blessed with a baby girl, Rucha has made comments on her returning to the television industry again.

9. Poonam Narula

Poonam Narula worked with the famous producer and serial maker, Ekta Kapoor for a very long time, not only that she was seen in serials like Shararat and Kasautii Zindagii Kay.

Poonam did not continue television as her career and now she is working as a wedding planner.
